Russian stocks may slightly rise on weakly positive background
MOSCOW, Sep 2 (PRIME) -- Russian stocks may open higher on Wednesday amid a weakly positive foreign background, analysts said.
“The foreign background before the opening of Russian trading today can be described as weakly positive: the U.S. futures are growing within 0.2%, oil costs about U.S. $46 per barrel. So we will open up, but very weakly, and in the second half of the day we can expect sales again, if the external background does not show a serious improvement,” Alor Broker chief analyst Alexei Antonov said.
Otkritie Broker analyst Andrei Kochetkov said he expects that the Russian stock market will continue consolidation on Wednesday, as the foreign background is quite neutral.
